The opening reception - at the Chicago Hilton and Towers in Buckinghams - will feature mercifully brief remarks, libations, and The Abbey of the Windy City Sisters, Mission of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, INC.
The Abbey are a group of 21st Century Queer Nuns dedicated to the promulgation of omniversal joy and the expiation of stigmatic guilt (in a nutshell). They will conduct a ritual and blessing during the reception and after, will lead any and all interested on a bar crawl.
